I have a little Yorkie puppy who is quite the athlete. She has been able to climb every ex-pen wall and every baby gate I own. I was at my wits end trying to contain her. This pen is great. The smooth plastic sides provide no foot hold, so the little squirt cannot climb out. Now, if she gets extra strong jumping muscles and some significant height on her, she may be able to jump out, but so far the height is great. I recommend this for toy breed dogs and smaller animals. Service was great and the playpen looks really nice in our mountain home. My little dogs love it. It's built of sturdy plastic rather than the typical industrial looking wire and it fits right in with our other furnishings. It's easy to assemble and I like the way the gate opens. Sure there are cheaper pet playpens but many of them have the bar across the top of the gate forcing you to crawl into the pen to clean it. The Richell pet playpen is definitely top of the line. |
