This is a high quality food that we have given to our pup since 8 weeks. She has had no intestional problems and her stools are always good. She eats the food up within minutes and at five months, still enjoys the taste. We will probably go to an adult innova dry food when she is older. 3/19/2011 Update- Our pup is healthy at nine months and growing well and gobbles this food up. He went from Puppy Chow (fed by breeder), to Blue Buffalo Large Breed Puppy, to Royal Canin GSD puppy, to Wellness SuperMix Large Breed Puppy, and then finally Innova Large Breed Puppy. All of these foods were switched very slowly, each would seem to help at first but then end with DISASTROUS results. My husband and I didn't get to sleep through the night for a very long time and cleaning up accidents in the middle of the night became common. He is such a smart dog that I really suspected that a poor food match was the cause of these accidents. After doing a ton of research (I've become obsessed with natural pet products) we tried Innova and its been amazing. No more accidents! He does have some pretty devastating gas, but we are working on that with small meals and probiotics. This food has been a blessing. Read more inova dog food, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Innova Large Breed Dry Puppy Food 33 lb (Misc.) i purchased this item because of recommendations from a old forums. the food seems to be really good. the seller was fast on shipping and will by from seller again. though i will be switching to a different food for my dog because i found out that proctor and gamble purchased innova in 2010. because of that i know p&g will change the quality of the food to be more profitable and there will be bad ingredient introduced. luckily there are more dog food producers to choose from . and i will buy from this seller if they offer them. |
